Attention all adrenaline enthusiasts, experience maximum thrills and fun on this 3-hour, guided coasteering excursion from Alesund! Welcoming beginners and adventurers ages 8 and up.
Located on the western coast of Norway, the picturesque city of Alesund is situated on a series of islands. Alesund is known for its distinctive Art Nouveau architecture, a fascinating maritime history that dates back to the era of the Vikings, and its breathtaking landscapes. If you're searching to make the most of your vacation in Norway and experience an exhilarating excursion at the edge of the North Sea, this coasteering excursion from Alesund is for you! Coasteering is an outdoor activity that involves climbing, traversing, and swimming along rocky shores and cliffs.
Your coasteering from Alesund adventure begins at the meeting point, where you'll be greeted by your experienced instructor. After you and your group (a maximum of 16 participants) receive your equipment, which includes a wet suit, a wet jacket, shoes, a life jacket, and a helmet, you'll set out to the departure point in Tueneset (a 10-minute drive from the starting point). Please note that transfers to and from the coasteering departure point are available upon request (please see 'special terms'.) Upon your arrival, you'll put on your equipment and receive a safety and itinerary briefing, followed by an introduction to coasteering and climbing techniques. Now, the fun starts!
In the company of your guide, you'll feel an incredible rush as you start traversing the rocky shores of the Baltic Sea. In addition, the daredevils of the group will have a chance to do some cliff-jumping and swimming! Throughout the excursion coasteering in Alesund, you'll also learn interesting facts about life on the North Sea and this scenic region in Norway. At the end of the activity, you can choose between returning to the original meeting point or (if you have a vehicle) leaving on your town terms. Either way, you'll have lifelong memories of coasteering!

Activity requirements
Please be advised that all participants must know how to swim.
In addition, pregnant people and those with health concerns are not recommended to participate in this activity.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Special terms
Please note that each coasteering excursion is adapted to the wishes and skill levels of the group.
If you wish to book transportation to and from the starting point, please contact the provider directly.
Also, cliff jumping is not a requirement for this activity. Participants can choose to opt-out.
